We at Fernan Rod and Gun Club are heartbroken by the tragic loss of two brave firefighters and the injuries suffered by several others during the ambush near our community on Sunday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families, friends, and fellow first responders who are grieving and recovering from this unimaginable act of violence.

In honor of those who gave their lives in service, and in support of the wounded and their loved ones, Fernan Rod and Gun Club will be making a donation to the families of the slain firefighters. We believe it is our duty as neighbors and citizens to stand beside those who sacrifice so much for our safety.

We ask for continued prayers, compassion, and unity as our community heals from this senseless act. May we always remember the courage and dedication of these fallen heroes.

With heartfelt gratitude and respect,

Melanie Smith
