Membership at FRGC

Join Us

We welcome new members while space allows. Membership will be capped to maintain safety and access standards appropriate for a range of this size. Whether you're a seasoned marksman or just beginning your journey, FRGC offers a place to grow, connect, and contribute.

In order to join FRGC, please click the JOIN button in the menu at the top right of your screen, or here.

Once you have entered your information and submitted your dues payment, your membership is still pending, as each member must complete a safety orientation before gaining access to the facility. This step ensures that each member is informed of the rules, regulations, and protocols of the range, and keeps FRGC a fun and safe place for recreation. Please contact our Chief Safety Officer, George Howley, to schedule your orientation after joining online, at which you will receive your credentials and key card to access the facility.

Club History & Mission

FRGC was founded in 1989 by Robert Smith and a group of visionary volunteers. Established in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service and Idaho Fish and Game, the club has grown from a modest shooting area into a modern facility through decades of member-driven effort.

We are proudly run by volunteers—dedicated members committed to safe, efficient, and excellent range operations.
